What is our Vision
To ensure that people in the rural community, the youths, students and workers in institutions have better health.
To form youth clubs in schools to champion a healthy lifestyle among the youth in order to reduce drug addiction and sexually transmitted diseases including HIV/AIDS
To create awareness on the prevention of mental illness and HIV/AIDS by printing and distributing of brochures health talks, billboards, radio and TV programmes, organising competitive debates and other activities among schools.
To help to reduce the stigma attched to mental illness, HIV/AIDS and to encourage families to accept treated patients back in their community and their work places.
To create an opportunity for nurses and other healthcare professionals to gain further experience by participating in health related exhange programmes abroad.
The organisation will be involved in other health promotion activities to enhance the well being of patients as well as supporting hospitals across the country with various amenities e.g. collection and distribution of used hospital and office equipments to hospitals and nursing colleges.
Volunteer Nurses Ghana will be working with other institutions, NGOs, Donor agencies to enhance the achievement of these vision.
